In an official statement, the Academy of Surfing Instructors Portugal (ASIP) announced the opening of registration for the last two classes of the year of the Grade I Surfing Coaches course.
This is a course approved by the Portuguese Institute of Sport and Youth (IPDJ), which is “consisting of three training components: General Component, Specific Component and Internship”.
In the published text, ASIP explains that “once again, the courses will be taught in b-learning format, with the General Component of the training to be carried out online”, with “access to the ASI e-learning platform “.
The “Specific Component will be in person and carried out over six days of workshop”. Here, students must choose the most convenient date, with the following dates as an option: September 19th to 24th in Matosinhos or between November 21st and 26th in Sagres. Finally, the internship will last for a minimum of six months.
ASIP warns that enrollment should be “made as soon as possible”, as they are “limited” and there is usually a “strong demand” for these courses. More information and registration HERE.
